Some random cards

Hello all.
I know i have been complete rubbish at keeping up to date with my Blog.
I honestly don't know where the days go.
Anyway without further ado, i will let you know how things are.
Last week i did my Copic colouring three class with Faye wyn-Jones (A wonderful teacher)
I always enjoy her classes.
I have decided to change how i make my cards and make them a little less fussy to highlight the image more.
i still want to add bits of bling and embellishments, but perhaps not so much of it.
anyway here are a few cards i have made over the past few months.

Its been quite a while since my last post.....Ive been a bit of a globe trotter of late.....
Manchester has been a second home for the past few months with my beautiful daughter Natalie, so no cards being made.
This is a little image i downloaded from
they are a bit pricey i think for a digi download but cute.
I used my Copics to colour them.
here is my take on these little cuties.

Back to one of my most favourite stamps by LOTV.
Fairies on tiptoe must be the most famous of all the LOTV stamps.
lots of sparkle and soft tones.

Bee Happy

Today i thought i would share a card that i made using one of the new Whimsy stamps.
I thought it was a bit too much at first, but after looking at it for the past few days, it seems to have toned down.....perhaps it's just me.....

I was asked to make a card for an Indian lady who dresses in traditional costume.

not an easy ask, but i remembered that i still had a few of my Magnolia Tilda stamps.

and lo and behold i found Indian Tilda.

She is just so sweet.

I coloured her in what i thought was colours that i see Indian people wearing on a day to day basis.

my lovely customer was delighted.

Flapper girl

Well i don't usually use images from card kits, but this gorgous 1920's flapper girl from Kanban just screamed "me me me "
I think it came in a kit i purchased some years ago, and put in a drawer.
Iv'e been having a clear out of stuff i never use (Which goes to my friends after school club for the kids) so it is put to good use and the kids love it.
anyways here is my flapper girl card.
The black flowers have been sprayed with my Copic ABS (Air brush system) which i think you all know by now I love to bits.
The foiled backing card is just lush...I added some swarovski crystals to her earing and head dress.
The flowers are from WOC (Wild Orchid Crafts) and the silver leafs are from eBay.

Dark Horse

I am so pleased that so many people like my lovely Whimsy Unicorn  which by the way is called "Enchanted Hollow" from Dies to die for I love their website and fab service.
so after i made the first Unicorn card and sold it, i was asked to make 2 more, but one with a more dark and mysterious look.
so here is my attempt at this.
The unicorn still had to be magical and beautiful.
I added some little tiny diamontes to the mane and tail just to make it stand out a little more against the deep florals.
The butterflies are metal ones that i coloured with my copic Air spray system (I Just love it)
I also matched the background again using my air spray.
I hope you like it.

I was getting a bit bored with the pastel pretty cards and decided to do something a little more Vintage and shabby and deep.
I love using the book pages as a backing, it adds a bit of drama.
I used this wonderful clock from WOC as it was perfect for the look i wanted and mounted it onto some cork.
sometimes you have to just do something different.....
the inside compliments the front.
This card is for sale on my website

LOTV Ballet dancer

Hi everyone.
Here I am again with another card i want to share.
this is the adorable Lilli of the Valley stamp
She is just a sweetie as are all of LOTV characters.
This one i have colored in shades of Lilac and used coordinating papers and flowers, and a cute little metal Ballerina charm which just finishes it off nicely.
This card is for sale on my Website
